I would think that it would be difficult to offer cheaper fares than those services and still make money. I look forward to finding out if there are.

Careful with “cheap” airline tickets. Hidden charges and rules usaully apply. The last minute deals are typically solid, because they are trying to get that last chunk of $$$ they can get. The others, well, be skeptical and read everything. Northwest Air has never let me down.

sidestep.com is great because it checks many, many sites all at the same time. It also checks some that you never would have thought of.

Expedia.com just bought 2 round trip tickets to new orleans from bakersfield and it was $617.00 for both ,and that also with tax . not bad for travling in june and august.+
