When are you planning on leaving? It’s best to leave sometime in the middle of the week (Tues-Thurs), and then fly back sometime in the middle of the week.
Also, how do you define “cheap?” I’ve never booked/paid for a domestic flight before, so I don’t know what a good fare is or not. However, I booked a flight from Tampa to Luxembourg (a small country bordering France) for $796, tax included. I booked it in early December and the flight isn’t until June 30. So in the dead of summer I got a killer deal. Expedia.com. No joke. The summer before (2008), I found tickets for $888 from Jacksonville to Luxembourg. I booked them in March or April, and the flight left in July. I got those from cheaptickets.com.
I live in Florida, 3 hours north of Orlando
Here are some estimates assuming you’re leaving June 1, 2009, have 2 adults, and are returning 6/8.
EXPEDIA:
INTO ORLANDO (BOS-MCO): $195.91 (US Airways)=-1294617294&ps3u=&&altd=&hqot=&pddt=&prdt=&altg=&hftp=&flag=q&wsds=EX01F4CF62A80%24FE!2%24FF%24EF!601!p0!50!8%24FF!90221020002!70122!4%24FF!90100001!V0!4%24FF!C0%2414000%2437M%2430%2432%2431I%2438%2432MDM%2430%2438MU%2435!2%2430%2436I!4%24FF!5013DGFYWM000!2%24AA%24CD%240C100003YWMDGF000%240A%24D2%24CD%240C100003!90%24E0%2480%24E9H100003!90%24E0%2480%24E9H100003!90%24E0%2480%24E9H1!O0!8%24FF0001!E0Q%2440%24FF00!4%24FF!50y%2433901!C01000!4%24FF!G0%24E0%2480%24E9H%24E0%2480%24E9H13101!602!D0!4%24FF!80&shpr=w&gptc=0&rfrr=5004&ftid=&sfcf=1&city1=BOS&citd1=MCO&date1=6%2F1%2F2009&time1=362&date2=6%2F8%2F2009&time2=362&flcr=&tktt=3&stkc=1&stkp=1&swoc=&ussw=1&rdct=1
INTO TAMPA (BOS-TPA): $249.30 (US Airways)=&cChi=&cInf=&infs=2&tktt=&trpt=2&ecrc=&eccn=&qryt=8&load=1&airp1=&dair1=&rdct=1&rfrr=-429
Keep in mind that airfare rates change according to available and the number of days till the flight leaves. Rates are not guaranteed until you pay for your ticket.
The search engines that Qualcuna used are a couple of many out there. Sometimes it is best to go to a travel agent and have them book the flight for you, if you feel overwhelmed.
Have you made your reservations at Disney yet? If not, contact a travel agent, there are a number of package deals out there that include room, park tickets and airfare.
